I’d like to take this time to officially welcome all of you to my website, My Country Table. It’s been well over a year since I first came up with the idea of creating a food website, where all of my friends could go to see my recipes. This idea entered my little pea brain, after I stopped to realize how many zillion times I had copied my recipes for friends throughout the years. The second thing that came to mind was the fact that a lot of my friends said they were still afraid to make a recipe without step by step illustrations. That’s when I decided to not only create a website for my recipes but to also illustrate how to make recipes.
I would like to thank all of my friends, who over the years have eaten so many of my baking experiments and given me very honest feedback. I would also like to thank my friends and family for having patience with me while I’ve been working on getting this website ready to launch. My biggest thanks goes to my son-n-law, Brad Covey, who is the genius website creator/designer who made this possible for me. He didn’t have a lot to work with, if ya know what I mean. Lol… I’d also like to thank everyone for your patience as I try to improve upon my photography skills.
I know we all live crazy, busy lives, but my friends I have so many recipes to share. I promise that I will only post recipes on this website that are my own tried and true recipes or those that I have tested and totally approve of. I have really never understood why some people do not want to share their recipes. I think when you have something good, you should share it with the world. I can’t wait to share all of my recipes with you. Now I just wish I could live to be ninety so I have time to share all of them. Lol…
That being said, I hope you’ll drop in and visit my country kitchen often and have a seat at My Country Table. See you soon!!!
