Pumpkin Spice Krispie Treats

PumpkinSpiceRiceKrispieTreats - 22_Fotor

I always get so impatient when it comes to waiting for Fall.  One evening, in the middle of August, I was tired after a long day, and was so done with the heat and humidity.  I had a full-blown Fall brain attack going on.  It was over cast and ready to rain outside, so I turned back the AC even more, and pretended that the over cast skies were really that of Fall.  Although I was tired, I had to make something that would give me a quick Fall fix. Something that was quick but smelled of warm Fall spices.  That’s when I whipped up these quick and easy treats.

Here’s how I made them…

First I poured about 1/2 bag of miniature marshmallows in a medium bowl and sprinkle some cinnamon over them.  I tossed them around to make sure they were all coated with the cinnamon and set them aside…

And lastly, I tossed in the cinnamon coated whole marshmallows and mixed them in.  This way I had pieces of marshmallows along with the melted marshmallows in the mix…

I used a piece of folded wax paper and patted the mixture into a 9″ x 9″ square pan…

Then I sprinkled some cinnamon over the top, and my kitchen smelled like Fall & Thanksgiving all in one…

And Voila…So easy, and did I mention they took ten minutes to make!!
